I'd Rather Be.....(part 2)

I'd rather be cycling! I love love love to road bike. It is so much fun and such a great workout. Cycling is a great way to see beautiful scenery up in the canyons and lose some weight at the same time. There is nothing more exhilerating than flying down the canyon, looking at your speedometer, seeing your going like 40 mph, and thinking "I really hope I dont fall". The bad part about biking is cars. People are really really mean to cyclist. I personally have been swerved at, yelled at, and once even had a chocolate shake thrown at me. hahahah ok so it is funny now but at the time I was so pissed that a few unspoken words slipped out of my mouth while I was screaming at the driver. This Share The Road photo makes me laugh because it reminds me of Dave. Dave hates cyclists and is constantly pretending like he is going to swerve at them. We have fights about it all the time in the car! Ok so I am about to jump on my soap box here for all you cyclist haters (dave). These bikes have really skinny tires. One false move or even a little sand on the road could cause us to fall. SO SHARE THE FREAKIN ROAD!!!!!!! ok i feel better.

I'd Rather Be.....(part 1)

I'd rather be snowboarding any day of the week. This is one sport that I absolutely love and really miss. Last year I didnt get to go boarding one single time. I remember when Alana and I use to go up almost every single day of the week (except sunday of coarse....gotta keep the sabbath day holy!). We would have so much fun and we got really good. Alana liked the speed while I liked the jumps. My favorite part was the end of the day, getting in the warm car, and driving down the mountain. We usually picked up a lot of hitch hikers and sometimes people would even just jump in the back of the car while we were stopped. Kind of scary to think about now but back then it was alot of fun. There is a 7-11 at the base of Big Cottonwood and we would always stop and get a hot chocolate and a double chocolate doughnut. yummm!!! I loved being completely exhausted at the end of the day. Those were the good ol' days.

Daily Walk

Yesterday Maya and I went for our daily walk and I thought I would bring the camera because it is so beautiful this time of year. We went to the Jordan River Parkway and it was perfect weather for a nice stroll. Maya made her usual stop by the bridge to get her picture taken. What a poser!
I love this time of year the most because the leaves are changing colors and the weather is so nice here in Utah. I am really going to miss the Jordan River trail when we move. We have so much fun there.

And this is Maya after our walk. What a lazy butt!

Halloween Party

Dave and I went to my cousin Brian's birthday party as mormon missionaries that snuck out for the night. Everyone was suprised to see that a sister missionary was allowed to stay on the mission while 8 months pregnant! Everyone was pretty shocked at our costumes and we won the "Best Costume" prize.
The second picture is of "Elder schultz" trying to chase down Kernel Sanders to give him the 1st discussion.

Short Hair

Ok Mandy, here is a pic of my New DO.

Changing times for Maya and Gizmo

Big changes are coming for Maya and Gizmo and they are starting to sense it. Gizmo will no longer lay on my stomach because whenever he does the baby kicks him. He gets all freaked out and now he wont come near me! Maya just stares into the baby room and she has been extra needy. She even makes dave hold her capri suns while she drinks them. How Lazy!

My First Blog

Wow, how exciting....my first blog! just kidding.

This picture reminds me of how much fun we had last christmas in Virginia with Dave's sister Annalee and her family. We were also able to go to D.C. and New York. Ahhh the good times of not having any kids or any worries. That is all about to end for us. I am so excited for the baby but I know it is going to completely change our "single" lifestyle. Dave still thinks that his life is not going to be effected in any way. hahahah oohhhh that is soooo funny! What a kidder.
