Suggestions anyone?

So, I am in need for a really good read. I mean a great read. A real page turner. A life altering experience. An "I can't put this book down" kind of book. Ok Ok so I went a little overboard but I really am looking for something interesting. Any good suggestions out there?

If any of you are in desperate need of a great read then let me know. I have just what you need!

Ok so I was tagged my Mandy to write about things that I am obsessed with. There are so many things that it took me a minute to think of what I really really love. So here goes....

This is my new (well actually used) jeep overland stroller. I got it used off of KSL but it was pretty much new (even some of the packaging was still on it). I have to say that I love love love it! I has a "music on the go" system that you can plug your IPOD into and it plays the music out loud so that your little tyke can here it too. The handle bar adjusts to your height, which if your a runner you know how important that it. It has plenty of pockets for storage and so many other great features. Boston, Maya, and I go for a run almost every single day now. Today we were jammin' to Bob Marley. SOOOO GREAT!


IKEA IKEA IKEA. ohhhh I love IKEA. I probably go there at least once a week. There are so many things to look at. There are great ideas for decorating rooms, packing away storage, kitchen appliances, fabrics, picture frames, lamps, furniture, gardening and my most recent favorite......the AS IS section were everything is insanely cheap. oh how I love IKEA.

Lately I have been obsessed with Antique shops. My most recent fav is the Finer Consigner in Sandy on Highland drive. It is so much fun to go in and look around. I have yet to buy anything, (because dave would kill me if I was spending money on crap we dont need), but I sure do love to look. I need to head up to SugarHouse because they have tons of cute Antique shops.

Books Books Books and more Books. Right now I really love to read. This week I started reading The No. 1 Ladies Detective Agency Series. My grandma told me about it and said that they are easy to read uplifting books. I rarely read the kind of book that is a quick read and even more rarely read happy go-lucky books. So I read The Kalahari Typing School for Men and then last night I finished The Good Husband of Zebra Drive. They sure are quick reads and they really teach about leading a good, simple life. So, now I need to finish the rest of the books in that series but I have also started reading Standing for Something by Gordon B. Hinckley and Northanger Abbey by Jane Austen. That should keep me busy for a few days at least! I usually like to read true stories about how people have survived through unimaginable circumstances. It is truley amazing how strong the human spirit really is. Anyway, if you have any suggestions for a good read then let me know!

Anyone who really knows me knows that I am a chapstick junkie. Chapstick is the drug and I am the addict. Seriously, I have thought about starting up an AA for chapstick-o-holics. I was trying to kick the habit for a while there but now that I am nursing my lips are drier than ever. Seriously, they are like peeling and cracking and I have gone back to my old ways. There are some people who are obsessed with their cell phones and panic if they leave the house without it. That's exactly how I am with chapstick. If I leave the house and dont have any chapstick I freak out. Usually I stop at the store or a gas station and buy some. I've gotta have the good stuff..not just any ol' chapstick. I need Natural ice, Burt's Bees, or aquaphor. Just like a crack addict, there are times, when in desperation, I will settle for the cheap stuff. Any suggestions for some really good chapstick??? ok so I have to tell you this funny story. Dave really hates how addicted I am and when we first got married he kept telling me that chapstick was addicting. I kept getting him to try it so he could feel the smooth, tingly, refreshing sensation that it gives your lips. He would refuse my offer every time and always said "chapstick is a scam. It makes your lips more dry and it is addicting". Well one time I had to go the InstaCare for like a cold or something. I was trying to explain my symptoms but Dave kept interrupting and was trying to get this Doctor to admit that chapstick was addicting. The doctor was like "what the heck are you talking about!". He kept trying to tell Dave that he really hadn't studied the addictive effects of chapstick but Dave was relentless and was like grilling this guy about chapstick! Who does that to some random InstaCare Doctor??? Needless to say, My name is Annie and I am an addict.
