Every year around July 4th my family has a family reunion in Arnold California where my grandparents live. I look forward to this trip every year all year long. Arnold is a beautiful little town placed in the Northern Sierra's right next to the Big Trees National Forest. There is so much to do but the main thing that we do is go to the fresh water lakes and just relax. This year we had so much fun. Here are some pics from the trip...

Firsts

This year has been a year of so many "First Times". Every single day is exciting because Boston will do something for the very first time ever. Here are a couple examples from the last couple days.

J- January or July?: yuck...neither. but if I had to choose one I guess it would be July because that's when we visit my grandma in California. oh ya and it's Alana's birthday July 24th and that is always just a huge wild party.

M- Marriage Date: August 17, 2002
Number of Siblings: One older Brother
O- Oranges or Apples: apples. speaking of apples, French apple pie sounds soooo good right now.
P- Phobias or Fears: Deathly scared of the dark. Dave thinks this is funny and so when I go into the basement to do laundry he will run downstairs and shut off the lights and shut the door. I totally freak out and start crying.
Q- Quote: "whatever"
R- Reason To Smile: FIrst thing in the morning when I walk into Boston's room, he starts freaking out and gets so excited. It melts my heart!
S- Season: Spring. I love the rain and all of the blooming flowers
T- Tag Three: Alana, Mandy, and Jesse (cause seriously Jesse you need to update your blog!)
U- Unknown fact about me: Hmmm, this is a tough one. Ok I am obsessed with Junk. I love garage sales and especially love the spring and fall neighborhood clean up days when everyone leaves all their junk outside. It is soooo much fun. Dave hates it because I am constantly saying "oh stop the car, we could totally use that old bookcase for something" or "hey, I bet we could make something cool with those old dirty mattress springs". (which by the way I totally could but Dave wouldn't stop the car).
V- Vegetarian or Oppressor of Animal: Oppressor of Animals. yumm yummm
W- Worst Habit: biting my nails
X- Rays or Ultrasounds: This is a really dumb question. Could they not have thought up anything else that starts with X? I guess ultrasounds. "whatever"

More Camping Pics

So here's a little tid-bit that you blog-stalkers may not know about me. I hardly ever "smile-nice" for the camera. It is just so much more fun to make a stupid face. My whole family does it and I am glad that I married someone who is just as goofy as I am. There's nothing better than ruining a picture that everyone else is trying to smile perfect for! So here's to silly faces!

B's First Camping Trip

We recently took our very first camping trip with little Boss over Memorial Day weekend. We went to the property my dad owns in Duschesne. We had so much fun watching the sunset, making s'mores, and riding the ATV's. Here are some shots!
