Temple Square

Last night Dave and I thought it would be fun to take Boston to see the lights at Temple Square. The lights were beautiful but Boston did not enjoy being bundled up. Here is how the night started out....

Boston just looks sooo happy here, doesnt he? haha, Dave kept saying "What's up, state-puff?" He reminded me of the little kid on the Christmas Story movie with the huge coat.

Another pic of Boss just having the time of his life!

The lights were beautiful.

This was an attempt to take a picture of ourselves....didnt work out so great.

For all of you who haven't seen the lights at temple square yet, you really should go. Yes, it may be the same as last year and the year before, but after all, it's tradition!

HaPpY HaLLoWeEn!!!!!

Halloween is one of my very most favorite holidays. I love the spooky decorations, Costume parties, trick or treating, and fall colors. Boston and I went to Wheeler Farm today for a photo shoot. Here are some pictures.

Boston wanted to be a Lion for Halloween.

King of the Jungle

This photo shoot was especially hard because all that Boston wanted to the whole time was crawl away. It still was fun and we had a good time.

What's Up Schultz's???

You may find yourself asking, "man, What's up with those crazy Schultz's?" Well, check this out.........

This gives you a glimpse of what Boston looks like in the mornings. YIKES!
Me taking pictures of myself again.

Dave, Boston and I took a drive up Little Cottonwood canyon Last Sunday. This is Dave's normal face. Quite the Handsome guy, huh?

This is dave begging me to take his picture.

Fall is my very favorite season. I love the cool crisp air, the beautiful leaves, and all the festiv holidays.

Boston learned how to crawl up the stairs last Sunday. So exciting for you all, I know.

We went to a "Trunk or Treat" Halloween party for my mom's ward. Boston had fun watching all the kids go nuts. He also enjoyed poking my eye out with a glow stick he was waving around all night. Boston also learned how to wave hello for the very first time. I almost cried!

It's a Bird, It's a Plane, It's SUPER BOSS!!!

Last but not least, I never thought that my dog and my kid would fight over the same lame toys. Here is Boss and Maya fighting over a wrapping paper roll. It kept them entertained for hours....so I was pretty happy.

All in all it's been a great month full of good times and fun firsts!

Wedding Bliss

I was going through some drawers yesterday and found some random wedding pictures. These were 3 of my favorites. I can't believe it has been over 6 years since we were married. I have the best husband in the world and am so glad that I tricked him into marrying me!

All Blogged-Out

So lately I have felt Blogged-Out. I haven't blogged in a while so I thought I would do a quick update on our life. Here's some pics of the house. We are so close to being finished and I can't wait until this remodel is over. It is looking great though and I love our new floors.

Oh ya, Alana finally had Elle. She is the cutest baby girl in the whole world. Check out Alana's blog to see how incredibley gorgeous this baby is. Also, my brother Matt and his wife Jen had their baby Boy. They named him Sam and he is SOOO cute. He looks so much like my brother. He really looks like a little man. I just can't get enough of him!

UpDaTe oN tHe UpDOe

After 6 months of living in a construction zone it is finally coming to an end! Here is an update on the progression of our Kitchen......

This is our kitchen at the very beginning. It was definitely YELLOW!! The pantry is on the left where the wall is (behind that garbage sack).

This is in the middle of the kitchen where our Island now is. There was a wall behind it that made the kitchen feel very small and closed off.

Here is another picture of our sweet dark brown cabinets, yellow countertops, and the pantry.
We started tearing down the wall behind the island and building a wall behind the fridge (when I say "we" I actually mean "dave").
Here is the wall that dave built. We pushed the kitchen back about two feet to give us a bigger kitchen.
Here is the kitchen without any cupboards. Also dave had just installed Canned lighting all by himself. He did all the wiring and everything! I was seriously impressed.
Our kitchen in the "demolition phase"

After months of living in a construction and weeks without appliances and running water......Drumroll please.....................
TAH DAHHHHHH

I LOVE THIS KITCHEN. LOVE LOVE LOVE!! here is a picture right after the countertops were finished and we put the new fridge in. We dont have a stove or microwave installed yet.

Here is the Finished product. Pretty different, huh?!?! I can't believe the transformation. I seriously feel like I am on some Home Makeover show. It is AMAZING!!

BEAUTIFUL!! Thanks Dave for all of your hardwork. We only have about 1 week left before we get all of our hardwood floors installed. I can't wait to get rid of the orange and gold carpet! I will keep you guys updated.

Visiting The Engar's

Last week I was able to fly to Spokane to visit with Mandy and her family. We had SOO much fun and it was great to be able to hang out with Mandy and the kids every single day. Boston and I already miss them so much. Here are a few pics from our trip.

Mandz and Tater Tots

Taters and Sethers just layin around

Hanging out at Riverfront Park.

Tatum is one of the cutest little girls I have ever known. She is so hilarious. This is the outfit that she picked out for our trip to Cour D'Alene. A blue dress with Pink bunny slippers and Orange Floaties.....Perfect! SHe also had to keep reminding me that we do not say that "B-u-t-t word". Boston loved Tate so much that I had to take him in a separate room to feed him because he just couldn't "focus" with her around.

We took the kids for a photo shoot at Manitou Park. It was a blast. Notice that Boston and Seth are wearing the same outfit. SOOO cute.

This was taken at the pool. Ya...they both seem really entertained.

Mandy and I had a good time and I can't remeber a time where we laughed as hard as we did last week. I just thought I would share one really funny story. To preface this story, you should know that I bottle feed Boston and mandy Breast-feeds Seth. Anyway, one day Boston just wasn't eating very well and wouldn't take the bottle. At lunch time I was trying to feed him and he was being very fussy. Mandy came up and said "Annie, do think it would help if I fed him?". I just sat there, staring at her, because I couldnt figure out if she was joking or if she really wanted to breast feed my baby! Finally, I said "are you serious?". Then she finally realized what I thought she was asking. We both just busted up laughing and then she preceded to tell me that she just wanted to give me a break from dealing with Boston and was asking if she could give him the bottle. For a minute there I seriously thought mandy was a "cross-nurser"! hahaha. anyway, I will never let her live that one down.

Thanks Mandy, Colby, Tutum, and Seth for letting me and Boston come visit. We had so much fun and can't wait to see you again!
